WHAT’S HAPPENING!

Brent Fasse

While the Fasse Shop is in the final stages of completion, the #23 modified is just in the beginning stages of completion.  With the Fasse Crew, as well as his merge with the team of Rod Cordon, there is no doubt he will be ready to go on practice day March 22.

For anyone who has been at I-70 for the last 3 years you have watched Brent race in the Dash Series.  At the end of the 2002 season at I-70, Brent and

Greg Fasse purchased the # 17 modified of Rod Cordon.  Not only will Brent be driving in a new series, he will also be working with a larger crew.  Brent and Rod will be working as one team next year running 2 different classes.  Rod will drive the  #12 Ford Late Model, while Brent will be running in the #23 Chevrolet Modified.

In talking with Brent recently, he had a few things to say about driving the high banks of I-70.  Turn 4, is definitely his favorite turn to go into.  He says, “ That because of the banking in that turn; it is one of the better turns for getting a great run coming out of the turn.” The reason we keep seeing him at I-70, is because to him, there is not another track around  that has the banking and speed that I-70 has.

As far as the upcoming season, he just wants to be consistent, finish each race, and end the season in the top five for the Modified Series.  Last year, he almost had his first championship in the Dash Series, maybe the upcoming 2003 Modified Series season will be his year.
