WHAT’S HAPPENING!

#23 Late Model, M2 Racing Team - driver Jimmy McCullough

“Our goal for 2003 is to get the chassis set up down, seat time and to run consistent each week.  We are looking forward to getting back on the track.”

Recently, I-70 Speedway made a visit to the M2 Racing Team garage to see what was in store for 2003.  As most of you remember, this team for the past 3 years has ran in the Struck division.  Jimmy won the Struck Division Championship in 2001. This year, the truck has been sold to Mike Phillips who will be running this year under the #67.

So, with the truck gone, they have made room for a Howe Chassis Late Model that Jim McCullough and Kenny Miller (crew chief) purchased in November.  Along with the help of Kent Crane (driver of the #48 Late Model & Modified) and Kent Vann (who is the crew chief for the #33 modified), and the remaining M2 Racing Crew; Jason Kearney, John Sellmeyer and Steve Bellands, they have began the process of building what they hope will be a competitive late model for the 2003 Race Season.  New for the M2 Racing Team will be the opportunity to work with computer programs to assist them with their chassis set-up, tire calculations and simulated racing.  Best of luck to the M2 Racing Team!
